PVI Fife & Drum Corps Marches in George Washington Birthday Parade
On Saturday, February 14, 2026, the PVI Fife & Drum Corps had the honor of marching with the American Friends of Lafayette (AFL) in the George Washington Birthday Parade in Alexandria, Virginia.
They were joined by Mark Schneider, who portrays the Marquis de Lafayette in Colonial Williamsburg. This was likely their largest audience yet, with an estimated 2,000–3,000 spectators lining the route. After the parade, the Corps was invited to a special reception, where they had the chance to meet audience members and connect with AFL members in person.
