PVI Fife & Drum Corps
The PVI Fife & Drum Corps celebrates the intersection of American history, Catholic faith, and music by honoring the nation's founding, preserving the tradition of fife and drum, and bringing communities together through performance and service.
The PVI Fife & Drum Corps began at the start of the 2024-2025 school year, meeting after school once a week. Their uniforms reflect the Catholic nations—France and Spain—that supported American independence, giving the group a unique identity rooted in both history and faith.
The Corps made its first public appearance at the 2025 Virginia March for Life—and it was a hit! This trio demonstrated that, even with just a few members, the group was already a viable and impressive musical unit, as showcased in the Arlington Catholic Herald.
The PVI Fife & Drum Corps has performed at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church Fall Festival in Reston, at an annual tribute celebrating America's 1781 Revolutionary War victory in Yorktown, and was part of many celebrations in Virginia to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States.
With all the musical talent at PVI, this amazing group will continue to build and grow with your support.
