The athletic program at St. Paul VI Catholic High School is an extension of our school’s mission, and, in turn, the mission of the Church.
Paul VI offers students the opportunity to play various sports at a competitive level. PVI competes in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) and the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association (VISAA).
Through athletics, students learn the value of teamwork, competition, and hard work, as well as how to deal with failure and adversity.
Participation in extracurricular activities is a privilege, not a right. Students who successfully meet the school’s academic requirements and adhere to the code of conduct may participate in extracurricular activities.

General Info
Prior to athletic participation — including preseason workouts, clinics, or sports — all students must have a completed Diocese of Arlington physical examination form on file. The physical examination is required for each school year, must be completed on or after May 1 preceding the school year, and is valid through the following June.
It is recommended that all health forms and requirements be uploaded by July 1.
Students with more than one failing grade in any class or a grade point average below 2.0 are not eligible. Eligibility is restored after the mid-point of the quarter if the GPA and grade requirements have been remedied.
