  • AP PHYSICS TEACHER (HALF TIME)

    St. Paul VI Catholic High School is seeking a half-time Physics teacher for the 2022-2023 school year at our new campus in Chantilly, Virginia. Candidates should be able to teach the AP Physics 1: Algebra-Based course. Candidates must demonstrate enthusiastic support for our Catholic witness and mission, zeal for the whole truth of the Gospel, and a deep desire to help our students know themselves in the light of God’s love. 

    We are on a block schedule, so half-time is every other school day.
    We have a one-to-one laptop program that integrates technology into teaching and learning with teachers and students using laptops on a daily basis in the classroom.  Applicants must be willing to teach in this integrated technology classroom environment.

  • SCHOOL COUNSELOR (FULL TIME)

    St. Paul VI Catholic High School is seeking a dynamic, organized, and dedicated School Counselor for the 2022-2023 school year at our new campus in Chantilly, Virginia. School Counselors deliver a full range of student services to include academic and personal advisement and college and career counseling. The candidate must be able to positively engage students, parents, and faculty members in delivering services.

    The candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. Candidates must demonstrate enthusiastic support for our Catholic witness and mission, zeal for the whole truth of the Gospel, and a deep desire to help our students know themselves in the light of God’s love.
    Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree in counselor education and must hold or be eligible for Virginia licensure. Experience in college admissions a plus.

Staff Positions

  • ASSISTANT EVENING SECURITY OFFICER

    Primary Responsibilities:  Under the general supervision of the Head of School, assists in developing and implementing a program of student security and supervision which fosters school-community relations, supports various aspects of student activities and school culture and climate activities, and performs related duties as required or assigned.
    Typical responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
     
    • Day-to-Day safety for school operations to include general clerical responsibilities, follow-up.  Documentation, record-keeping and communication as required. 
    • Court appearances, police report coordination and follow-up, and other duties related to proper accountability of safety and security matters. 
    • Coordinate and supervise Code enforcement for overall safety and security of building. 
    • Coordinate and supervise security implementation for Graduation, end of year and other major events involving students and staff. 
    • Attend special events to include, but not limited to, Back-to-School Night, major sporting events, and other events as deemed necessary by the Head of School/Principal to preserve overall school safety and security. 
    • Supervise and coordinate parking lot, traffic out of school, parking and vehicle matters for school, and general visibility and security of school grounds during the school day and after school functions as specified by the supervisor. 
    • Monitor hallways, restrooms, and grounds for proper student behavior
    • Monitor doors and secure all exits after school hours. 
    • When appropriate, act as liaison between school and Office of Code Enforcement, Fire Marshall, Police, and safety officials as necessary. 
    • Main shift is 2 p.m. – 10 p.m. daily. Must check in with Assistant Day Security Officer upon arrival. 
    • Supervise activity in Bel Alton Commons from 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. daily. 
    • Other duties as assigned by the Head of School.

  • BUS DRIVER (PART TIME)

    St. Paul VI Catholic High School is seeking part-time bus drivers to join our team. Drivers are needed to provide transportation for our students to athletic events and off-campus activities, most of which are late afternoon, evening, and weekend events. The primary job responsibilities will be driving students to activities in a safe and timely manner using a PVI owned 40 passenger school bus. Ideal candidates have a clear driving record and previous bus driving experience for a transportation company or school. Applicants must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements.

  • COOK (PART TIME)

    St. Paul VI Catholic High School is seeking a part time 10 month Cook for the 2022-2023 school year at our campus in Chantilly, Virginia.  Primary responsibilities include providing assistance to the food service program by preparing and distributing/serving food to school students and staff.  This position is also responsible for participating in the cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and kitchen facilities.  The ideal candidate will hold an active Food Manager’s License or Food Handler’s Card, have experience preparing food items from recipes, and be bilingual (English and Spanish).  This position is in the Cafeteria Department and reports to the Kitchen Manager/Chef.  Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, and three professional references to Human Resources.

  • FACILITIES/MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

    St. Paul VI Catholic High School is seeking a full time Facilities/Maintenance Technician for the 2022-2023 school year at our campus in Chantilly, Virginia. Primary responsibilities include completing minor repair work to buildings including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and other minor repairs. This position also requires troubleshooting of systems to maintain uninterrupted service. The ideal candidate has prior facilities/maintenance experience, is skilled in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, and painting, and has a working knowledge of heating/cooling systems. This position is in the Facilities Department and reports to the Director of Facilities.   • WEBSITE AND DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST (PART TIME)

    The Website and Digital Marketing Specialist position is a 12 month, 20 hour per week position
     
    The Website and Digital Marketing Specialist is a member of the St. Paul VI Catholic High School Communications and Marketing team. This position creates and manages both full-scale and micro-scale websites, assists in managing social media sites, and creates digital graphics to help support the mission of the school and market to the community and public.
     
    This position will develop, update and maintain the school website, including webpage layout, content, graphics, and color schemes to maintain a cohesive website based on the Communications Department’s strategies and goals. 
    • Serve as webmaster; plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the Paul VI website (www.paulvi.net) working with other departments to ensure content is up to date and provides an effective and positive user experience.
    • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues.
    • Post school events on the website, and assist staff with setting up forms and event registrations.

    • Review and report on key performance metrics and analytics of the website and social media platforms based on goals set by the Communications department.

    • Work with Communications team members to develop an editorial plan and assist in posting content on PVI social media platforms.

    • Assist in monitoring social media platforms for comments and mentions, reply to comments, and alert the Director of any issues that need escalating.

    • Set up outbound emails in PushPages, Constant Contact, or OLX as needed.

    • Review outgoing email data to track open rates and alert appropriate departments of bad data.

  • ASSISTANT BASEBALL COACH

    Assistant Baseball Coach – St. Paul VI Catholic High School in Chantilly, Virginia is seeking assistant baseball coaches for all levels within the program. The ideal candidate should promote good sportsmanship and student development; have a commitment to upholding the mission of our school in a manner that is consistent with our Catholic values; have the knowledge, experience, leadership and vision to support a program that can compete consistently; and value the athlete’s experience. The candidate should have experience supporting and managing a program, assisting in college recruitment, and running an effective in and out of season practice regiment. The assistant coach should be an excellent communicator with both parents and players and a role model for behavior both on and off the field.
