Teaching Positions

  • BOYS THEOLOGY OF THE BODY (PART TIME)

    St. Paul VI Catholic High School is seeking a Theology of the Body teacher for boys for the 2021-2022 school year at our new campus in Chantilly, Virginia. The class meets once every "PANTHER" cycle, about 22 days a school year. A degree in Theology from a Catholic college is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate enthusiastic support for our Catholic witness and mission, zeal for the whole truth of the Gospel, and a deep desire to help our students know themselves in the light of God's love.

  • THEOLOGY TEACHER (PART-TIME)

    THEOLOGY (PART TIME) St. Paul VI Catholic High School is seeking a part-time Theology teacher for the 2021-2022 school year at our new campus in Chantilly, Virginia. We seek applicants with a degree in Theology from a Catholic college. Youth ministry and mentoring experience strongly recommended. Candidates must demonstrate enthusiastic support for our Catholic witness and mission, zeal for the whole truth of the Gospel, and a deep desire to help our students know themselves in the light of God’s love.

    We have a one-to-one laptop program that integrates technology into teaching and learning with teachers and students using laptops on a daily basis in the classroom. Applicants must be willing to teach in this integrated technology classroom environment.

Staff Positions

  • ADVANCEMENT SERVICES ASSISTANT (FULL TIME)

    The Advancement Services Assistant will advance the mission of St. Paul VI Catholic High School in support of the Advancement, and Head of School offices. This is a full time, 12-month position reporting to the Director of Advancement.

    Responsibilities
     
    Supports the Director of Advancement and Advancement team with operational and administrative tasks specific to advancement initiatives, including (but not limited to):
      • Database (Raisers Edge) management, gift processing, and reporting
      • Management of operational procedures
      • Advancement and Communications event support
      • Office management and administrative support
    In conjunction with the Director of Advancement, the Advancement Services Assistant manages the database and operational aspects of supporting the Fund for Paul VI, campaigns and special initiatives, constituent relations, and other external relations programs.
     
    • Database (Raisers Edge) management and reporting
      • Manage the Raisers Edge (RE) database and performs ongoing record and data cleanup
      • Ensure accurate and consistent formatting of database records
      • Create, document, and update Standard Operating Procedures for all database activities
      • Processes gifts, balances financial records, and generates report for Finance
    • Event Support
      • Track RSVPs, process registrations and manage event data
      • Attend events and provide on-site staff support
      • Track event finances including and generate post-event reports
      • Research venue options and manage vendor relationships
    • Office Management and Administrative Support
      • Oversee the daily operation of the Advancement Office
      • Schedule and manage meeting details; take minutes
      • Perform other administrative duties as assigned
    • Qualifications and Experience
      • Bachelor’s degree
      • 3-5 years of office experience in fundraising, database management, or related fields
      • Strong Excel and database skills
      • Excellent customer service and strong oral and written communication skills
      • Organization, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
      • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential personal and institutional information
      • Able to work occasional nights and weekends
  • COOK (FULL TIME)

    St. Paul VI Catholic High School is seeking a full time Cook for the 2021-2022 school year at our campus in Chantilly, Virginia.  
    Primary responsibilities include providing assistance to the food service program by preparing and distributing/serving food to school students and staff.  This position is also responsible for participating in the cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and kitchen facilities.  The ideal candidate will hold an active Food Manager’s License or Food Handler’s Card, have experience preparing food items from recipes, and be bilingual (English and Spanish).  This position is in the Cafeteria Department and reports to the Kitchen Manager/Chef.
