Legally Blind Alumna Runs DC Marathon
PVI alumna Monica Summitt ’86, who is legally blind, ran the DC Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
Connecting with Achilles International’s DMV chapter, Monica was paired with a volunteer who is trained to guide athletes with disabilities.
