PVI Student Finishes Emerging Artist 2026 Teens Program at the Hirshhorn Museum
This summer, Isabel Lee ’27 finished the Emerging Artist 2026 Teens Program at the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, DC. Her piece "Veiled View" is about how people tend to miss out on important experiences while being absorbed in online media.
Isabel and 14 other students spent eight weeks working with museum professionals and teaching artists to respond to the Hirshhorn collection. Drawing inspiration from global artists, who use their work to spark curiosity, conversation, and change, our emerging artists created a showcase of original work around a topic of their choosing. The result: “No Connection. Please Try Again Later” invites the public to engage with their perspectives on an ever-evolving digital landscape.
The exhibition has been open to the public since August 15 and will be available until the end of December 2026.
