PVI Student Receives First Class in NCTE Writing Contest

Congratulations to Anna Britt ’27 for receiving the distinction of First Class in the 2026 National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Achievement Awards in Writing Contest.
Anna received this after the NCTE received nominations from 689 students from 38 states, Puerto Rico, Washington, D.C., Canada, Jamaica, Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, and Taiwan. Each piece of writing was evaluated for expression of ideas, language use, and unique perspective and voice. Anna's winning essay will be in the upcoming issue of Crossroads.
