Campus Ministry exists to encounter students with the love of Christ, encourage them to “grow in grace and wisdom” as well-rounded disciples, and form them in virtue, prayer, community, and the sacraments.
In describing the Christian community, Acts 2:42 displays for us the four foundational habits of Christian discipleship: "They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles (Virtue) and to the communal life (Community), to the breaking of the bread (Sacraments) and to the prayers (Prayer)."
Campus Ministry seeks to foster this intentional life through spiritual and community-building activities within our school, such as all-school Mass, retreats, mission trips, and community events. All students are already “part of” Campus Ministry as members of our PVI Family.

Becoming Catholic
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is the process used by the Church to convert someone who is not a Christian, to bring a non-Catholic into full union with the Church, or to get a Catholic prepared for Confirmation. While this is usually done in a parish, we offer this instruction at Paul VI for students who may fit these categories. These weekly Sacramental Prep classes take place after school, beginning in early October, and through the spring until Easter. During these sessions, students explore the bountiful depths of truth that the Catholic Church has to offer. Through participating in the class and deepening their faith, students can choose to become Catholic and receive each of the Sacraments of Initiation in the spring.
St. Paul VI Catholic High School is a private Diocesan Catholic preparatory school for girls and boys in grades 9-12 in Chantilly, Virginia, seeking to help our students Grow in Grace and Wisdom.
