Paul VI Volleyball Programs Receive USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award

The Paul VI girls and boys varsity volleyball programs have been recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as recipients of the 2023 USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award, as well as the additional Honor Roll distinction that recognizes the top 20% of the Team Academic Award winners. The top 20% represent less than 150 high schools in the country. The award is presented to colleges, universities, 2-year colleges, and high schools for women/men, as well as for indoor and beach volleyball across the country.
These awards are given to varsity teams that achieve a team GPA of at least 3.3 for the entire academic school year. Our girls have won this award for the 9th consecutive year and 11 of the past 12 years. Our boys have won this award four previous times; this is the 1st award since 2018.

These young, outstanding volleyball players are the very definition of a student-athlete. Major congratulations to all our PVI volleyball players - job well done!
