PVI Baseball Wins VISAA Championship
On Saturday, May 16, 2026, PVI Baseball defeated St. Anne's Belfield School 7-6 in the VISAA State Championship, at Shepherd Stadium in Colonial Heights, VA, the sixth state title in school history.
The Panthers finished with a school record of 28 wins and are currently ranked #1 in all of Virginia and the DMV. Baseball America has PVI ranked #25 in the nation.
Additionally, Baseball WCAC Co-Player of the Year was awarded to Aidan Gallagher ’26, and WCAC Baseball Coach of the Year was awarded to Billy Emerson.
