Three National Merit Finalists Named for Paul VI

The National Merit Scholarship Program has recently announced that all three of PVI's Semifinalists have been named Finalists.
Congratulations to Maria Rechter, Chloe Martin and Theresa Sheehan, who are pictured (left to right) with Dr. Opfer, Principal.

Over 1.6 million juniors in about 22,000 high schools entered the National Merit competition by taking the 2017 PSAT.

About 15,000 Finalists were named from that 1.6 million and represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.

Congratulations, ladies!
