PVI Competes in Southeastern Baseball Classic

Following a blessed Easter weekend, the Panthers headed south to Hartsville, SC, to compete in the prestigious Southeastern Baseball Classic (SBC). The Panthers captured their fourth win with a 7-4 victory over their rival, DeMatha. Congratulations to the team and Coach Billy Emerson!
The Panthers went 3-1 against tough opponents from SC, VA, GA, and MD to capture the 2024 Southeastern Baseball Classic Championship (the fourth in school history)! Jackson Sirois ’24 and Carter Perdue ’26 were named Co-MVPs of the tournament. Nate Hoskins ’24 was awarded the SBC’s Raines Memorial Scholarship and was named to the All-Tournament Team along with Sirois. Perdue, Sirois and Will Tighe ’25 all garnered Shug's Steakhouse Player of the Game awards along the way.
