Ethan Chrisholm Performs
Congratulations to junior Ethan Chisholm, who was selected through audition to perform in the North Central Virginia Senior Regional Orchestra.
The North Central Virginia Senior Regional Orchestra is one of the four all-regional high school orchestras in Virginia (23 cities and counties). Under the baton of Michael Gerdes, Director of Orchestral Studies at San Diego State University, following two days of intensive rehearsals the concert was held November 11 at Charles Colgan High School in Manassas. Musical pieces included Symphony No. 2 by Jean Sibelius, Hoedown by Aaron Copland, and Academic Festival Overture by Johannes Brahms. Ethan is eligible to audition for the All-State Orchestra in Virginia next spring.
