Voice of Democracy Speech Contest

Congratulations to Angela Benedict ‘25 who placed first in the local round of the VFW Voice of Democracy (VOD) speech contest.
Angela wrote and recorded a speech about the greatest attributes of our Democracy. On December 11, VFW Post 8469 Adjutant and VOD Chair Mike Semenec came to campus to present Angela with her award. Fellow members of her AP Language class were there to celebrate her as well. Her speech will now move on to the district round of the competition. Well done, Angela!
