Boys Basketball wins WCAC Championship

On Monday, February 26, the Panthers took on the Eagles of Gonzaga and became the 2023-2024 WCAC Champions.
With a week's rest, the Panthers were poised and ready to go into the WCAC playoffs over the weekend with three games in three days. Starting on Saturday, February 24, PVI traveled to Gallaudet University to take on the Lions of Archbishop Carroll in the quarterfinals of the WCAC tournament. The team controlled the game from the beginning and won 69-41. Next up, PVI moved on to American University for the semifinals, where they took on Bishop O'Connell and once again secured the win 65-44 so they could advance to the championship game on Monday night. For the championship, the Panthers took on the Eagles of Gonzaga, and in a hard-fought game, they were able to pull away in the 4th quarter and become the 2023-2024 WCAC Champions with a 63-51 victory.
