Auction 2019 Honorees

On March 16, 2019, PVI celebrated 20 years of Options with a ShamRock-n-Roll Dinner and Auction
From Ginny Colwell, Head of School

There are moments in a school's history that define and shape a school. Sometimes we don't fully understand the impact until years have passed; we look back, and say, "We are a better place because of that."

Nothing is more true than the vision of a small group 20 years ago, who turned a conversation at a car wash into an idea, and recycling into funding, to create what we now know as the Options program at St. Paul VI Catholic High School.

To say thank you would be an understatement. To count the number of lives touched by their vision is nearly impossible. To celebrate them is an honor.

I am proud to announce this year's PVI Community Stars honorees, the founding families of Options: the Alonso, Armitage, Harrington, Lee, Mitchell, and Rashid families. Their vision, commitment, and tenacity forever changed Paul VI for the better, and started a movement of inclusion throughout the Diocese, and the country.

How lucky are we to call them family.

Please join me in honoring these families, celebrating 20 years of Options, and supporting PVI at the ShamRock-n-Roll Dinner and Auction on Saturday, March 16 in the Panther Activity Center. It is sure to be a wonderful night and made better if shared with you.
