Mrs. Jan Siegfried

Mrs. Jan Siegfried is a member of the Fine Arts faculty and the 2023-2024 school year marks her 19th year teaching instrumental music.
She hails from Valparaiso, Indiana, and attended Ball State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Music Education K-12.

Music has always been her career path, and she served 20 years as clarinetist/solo Eb clarinetist in the USAF Band in Washington DC. She enjoys outdoor activities and her favorite saint is St. Michael. Mrs. Siegfried’s favorite lesson to teach is the first lesson to read music. “Music basics aren't very complicated, and it's fun to watch people's confidence and self-esteem rise as they quickly become successful,” she shares.

“I love being able to teach one of God's gifts in our God-centered setting. The friendly community of staff, teachers, students, and families, our facility, and the quiet setting of campus make PVI a great place to work.”
