Mr. David Kaplan

Mr. David Kaplan is teaching in the Options program.
Mr. Kaplan is from Annandale, Virginia. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from High Point University. A former college basketball coach, David enjoys attending college basketball practices and games, lifting weights, and spending time with friends.

His favorite saint is St. Michael the Archangel, and he loves teaching in the Options program because of the students’ genuine joy and the tremendous contributions of the peer mentors. One of his favorite quotes is from Dean Smith: “Good people are happy when something good happens to someone else.”

What he likes about PVI: “The faculty, staff, and students are all kind and welcoming. I truly look forward to coming to work each day.”
