Mrs. Mary Gillman

Mrs. Gillman wears many hats at PVI, including Coordinator of Experiential Learning; Business, Computer and Engineering Department Chair; and Entrepreneurship teacher.
Mrs. Gillman is from Hartford County, Maryland and attended Virginia Tech, where she earned a BS in Marketing Education. She previously worked for Coca-Cola, Chocolate Whimsy, National DECA, and St. Veronica Catholic School.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on Hokie Football, ACC college football, and the Caps.

Her favorite saint is St. Joseph, protector of families. Her favorite lesson to teach is “anything that connects the real business world to what we are learning in class.” Her favorite quote is, “You aspire to great things? Begin with little ones.”

When asked about her favorite thing about PVI, she shared: “PVI is full of great teachers who care so deeply for our students. I have had three children go through PVI, and each one had wonderful caring teachers.”
