“I play the piano, but nearly as often as I should. Since commuting has become my free time activity, I listen to a lot of books! My husband and I enjoy camping with our three Jack Russell Terriers.”
Her favorite saint is St. Joseph and her favorite quote is, “Vocatus atque non vocatus, Deus aderit.” She explains, “‘This quote is attributed to Karl Jung; it was written over the entrance to his home’. It means: Bidden or unbidden, God will be present.”
When asked about her favorite lesson, she says, “Asking me to pick a favorite lesson is like asking a mother to pick a favorite child! I do like any lesson into which I can incorporate art - art created by the students.”
“I love being part of a learning community that is also a faith community. I love that I can attend daily Mass and that prayer is integrated into our day. I also work with the best department in the school, so that makes coming to work a pleasure.”
