Saint Thomas More – Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Award - As the Diocese of Arlington continues its third year of preparation for the Golden Jubilee, with the theme “RENEW,” we are honored to present the highest award of the graduation ceremony in honor of the co-patrons of the Diocese of Arlington: Saint Thomas More and Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, holy persons known for their deep love for our Eucharistic Lord, devotion to our Blessed Mother, faithful witness on behalf of the sacredness of all human life, and humble service to the poor and those in most need.
Ciara Gallagher

St. Paul VI Medal - Saint Paul VI, for whom our school is named, was the champion of justice in his time.  He was the first Pope to visit the United States and the first Pope to address the United Nations.  His message was simple and straight forward: Human dignity was non-negotiable, peace among nations was necessary and the poor were to be included in discussions of poverty, resources and war.  The recipients of these medals were chosen by the faculty and staff for their commitment to the service of others and work for justice in our world.

St. Jane de Chantal Medal
- St. Jane de Chantal was known throughout her life to be extremely compassionate and caring.  As a woman of faith, she was able to persevere and maintain a positive spirit despite the many trials she experienced.  She was a model of true forgiveness. St. Jane shared St. Francis de Sales gifts of humility and generosity.

St. Francis de Sales Medal
- St. Francis de Sales, the Patron Saint of Paul VI Catholic High School, was a teacher.  As a teacher, he had a love of knowledge and a desire to help others discover their God-given talents.  He is known as the “Gentlemen Saint” for his love of God and respect for his fellow man.

Father Heet Medal for Outstanding Leadership -
Father Donald Heet was the first Principal of St. Paul VI Catholic High School. As an Oblate of St. Francis de Sales, he modeled St. Francis de Sales' teachings each and every day of the first 10 years of our school's history. He dedicated many hours to our school community and humbly lived his vocation as a leader in our school.  Much of the success that our school enjoys today is the direct result of the strong foundation and leadership established by Father Heet.
