Each of the two groups is made up of 29 students, accompanied by several adult chaperones and at least one peer leader.
The groups will build two homes during their time. They will also lay cement floors in existing homes, which will help make the houses cooler and cleaner, as well as help provide dignity to the homeowners.
Additionally, the PVI mission teams will dig holes for latrines and paint religious murals.
In addition to physical labor, the mission teams will participate in the spiritual and social life of the community during their time in Banica. They will attend daily Mass, have prayer time, visit the market, hike in the mountains, have dinner in a local restaurant, and get to know the people in the community.
