  • Learning Support Specialist

    St. Paul VI Catholic High School is seeking a dynamic, organized and dedicated Learning Support Specialist for the 2024-2025 school year at our campus in Chantilly, Virginia. Learning Support Specialists help foster growth in school-wide differentiation so that all students can fully develop their God-given gifts and talents within a Catholic setting. The Learning Support Specialist is responsible for building upon existing structures to support and enhance learner variability in classrooms. This includes coaching and mentoring faculty and students to provide opportunities for UDL and PBL. In conjunction with the Dean of Exceptional Learning and the leadership team, the Learning Support Specialist will design and implement professional learning experiences for faculty. The LSS will serve as a resource for both faculty and students, and will coordinate with the Director of Counseling to develop and grow HOPE (Helping Our Panthers Everyday), a program to ensure that PVI students do not “fall through the cracks.” 
     
    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Provides coaching/mentoring to support learner variability in classrooms.
    • Designs curriculum outcomes that foster and support all students. 
    • Coordinates with the faculty in our ACE and DeSales programs to provide push in learning opportunities for diverse learners.
    • Coordinates with the Options faculty to ensure that students’ learning opportunities are inclusive.
    Start date is August 1, 2024

  • School Counselor

    St. Paul VI Catholic High School is seeking a dynamic, organized, and dedicated School Counselor for the 2024-2025 school year at our campus in Chantilly, Virginia. School Counselors deliver a full range of student services to include academic, and college and career counseling. The candidate must be able to positively engage students, parents, and faculty members in delivering services.
     
    The candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church and a faith-filled witness to Christ. Candidates should demonstrate enthusiastic support for our Catholic witness and mission and a deep desire to help our students know themselves in the light of God’s love. 
     
    Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree in counselor education and must hold, or be eligible for, Virginia licensure. Experience in college admissions is a plus.
     
    Start date is July 1, 2024.

  • Facilities/Maintenance Technician

    St. Paul VI Catholic High School is seeking a full time Facilities/Maintenance Technician at our campus in Chantilly, Virginia.

    Primary responsibilities include completing minor repair work to buildings including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and other minor repairs. This position also requires troubleshooting of systems to maintain uninterrupted service.

    The ideal candidate has prior facilities/maintenance experience, is skilled in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, and painting, and has a working knowledge of heating/cooling systems. This position is in the Facilities Department and reports to the Director of Facilities.

    Mission of the WCAC
    The Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (“WCAC”) is organized exclusively for fostering the spiritual, academic, social, and athletic development of interscholastic high school athletic competition while cultivating the ideals of Christian sportsmanship. Formed in 1993, the WCAC consists of 13 private schools in the Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia area whose membership includes eight co-ed schools: Archbishop Carroll High School, Bishop Ireton High School, Bishop McNamara High School, Bishop O’Connell High School, Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, St. John’s College High School, St. Mary’s Ryken High School, and St. Paul VI Catholic High School; three all-boys schools: DeMatha Catholic High School, Gonzaga College High School, and The Heights, and two all-girls schools: The Academy of the Holy Cross and Elizabeth Seton High School. All member schools participate in interscholastic sport at the Varsity and Junior Varsity level, with some also competing at the Freshman-only level.
