Mission Trips & Pilgrimages

The Paul VI community extends beyond Northern Virginia. Wherever people are in need, we serve.
We arrive ready to pick up a hammer and build, or work the soil with our hands, or play a game with the local children. We listen to our hosts and then step in to serve.

We believe that helping others is essential to Grow in Grace and Wisdom. Our Missions and Pilgrimages are not simply an experience or an adventure, they are transformative. A mission leads us to question how God is working in us and helps us to discover how God is calling us into His world to serve and to love as Christ.  Pilgrimages really ask a lot of us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. These journeys reflect an interior sojourn and have a rich history, spanning all the way back to the Old Testament. A pilgrimage is a journey to the heart of the Father. In recent years, more than 500 students have traveled both in the United States and abroad to focus on serving communities in need:

Pilgrimages

On our Pilgrimages we are called to journey, the path to be open and to love like Jesus, to listen and truly hear, to look and clearly see.  Visiting sacred places brings our faith to life and connects us deeply to our traditions. Our students and faculty regularly make pilgrimages to beautiful and revered sites around the world.  We have traveled to the Vatican, to Assisi, Italy, to the holy sites of Lourdes and Annecy, France, Easter Sunday in Fatima, Portugal, and the Camino de Santiago in Spain!
St. Paul VI Catholic High School is a private college preparatory school for girls and boys in grades 9-12 in Chantilly, Virginia, seeking to help our students Grow in Grace and Wisdom. Our school is part of the Diocese of Arlington and offers rigorous academics, an inclusive community focused on spiritual and leadership formation, and a proud athletic tradition featuring nationally renowned programs competing in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference and the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association.
