Campus Ministry

Catholic Retreats

We take time to reflect, which draws us closer to God, to ourselves, and to each other.
Students attending a PVI retreat will focus on their faith and their ongoing relationship with God. Retreats are offered throughout the year.

All students are required to attend a retreat during their junior year. Retreats are a prerequisite to register for senior year classes.

Students may fulfill their retreat requirements in the following ways:
  • Attend a retreat run by PVI Campus Ministry.
  • Attend an overnight retreat run by any parish in the diocese (requires approval from Campus Ministry prior to the retreat).
  • Make a pilgrimage or go on a mission trip with PVI’s Campus Ministry.
  • Non-Catholic students have the option to attend a retreat not run by PVI or a Catholic parish with pre-approval from Campus Ministry.

Maggie, Class of 2017

My retreat was a breath of fresh air and a chance to encounter God’s unconditional love. High school can be so stressful and it demands so much from you. My retreat reminded me that there is hope and that I can find peace with God.
