Paul VI will offer bus service for the 2020-2021 school year. We are working very closely with our bus service provider to adhere to CDC, VCPE, and state safety guidelines.
The following guidelines will be in place for bus service until further notice:
All students must wear a mask during the entire bus route.
Students will be seated in a diagonal fashion (one student per seat unless students live in the same home) and must remain in the seat the entire bus route.
Any student not adhering to the above guidelines will be removed from the bus route (and any fees paid will not be refunded).
The bus service provider will be sanitizing the bus after each use.
We are still assessing the number of students on each route, each day. With in-person instruction limited to approximately 50% each day, the number of riders per route, per day is reduced. PVI is using the largest buses available (at PVI's expense) to ensure social distancing is maintained to the extent possible.
BUS SERVICE RATES:
PVI's bus rates for the 2020-2021 school year, while operating on the hybrid model, will be as follows:
Two way bus service - $1,150 for the year
One way bus service - $725 for the year
If currently enrolled in bus service, PVI will adjust your fees automatically through FACTS. If bus service has been paid in full, PVI will issue refunds for the adjusted amounts.
NOTE: If at any point during the 2020-2021 school year, PVI resumes 100% in-person instruction the rates will be adjusted to reflect 100% of the original bus service rates posted, prorated for the remaining portion of the school year.
BUS SERVICE DEPOSITS:
Bus deposits are non-refundable. However, given the current circumstances, if you need to cancel bus service, PVI will refund the $100 deposit upon request. This is a one-time exception to the deposit requirement for students currently enrolled and is only available through August 12, 2020. Any cancellation after this date is not eligible for the deposit refund.
