A warm welcome to all PVI parents, All parents of students in the PVI music program are PVI Music Boosters. Music Boosters provide organizational and financial support to the music programs here at PVI. Please remember that the Music Booster organization is comprised of parents from all of the performing ensembles at PVI (e.g., Choral, Orchestra, Symphonic Band, etc.). Our mission is to assist the faculty in a variety of capacities to help the music program run smoothly. The help of all parents is necessary to make our program a success. Some of the services we provide:
- Chaperones - We provide chaperones throughout the school year for various performances as required. (Pep band during football games, field trips like Disney, etc).
- Concert Attire - We provide, for a fee, the formal concert attire.
- Concert Support - We provide programs, ticket sales and post concert receptions.
- Fundraising – There will be 3 opportunities for students to earn money toward the cost of any performance trips and/or uniforms this school year. Our primary fundraiser is the sale of White House Ornaments - sales begin in September. Other opportunities will be selling poinsettias for the December concert and selling sun block prior to the Disney trip. Additional proceeds go in a general booster fund.
We have an exciting year of performances planned, and we hope you will check us out and become a part of this new era in music here at PVI. We have included a schedule of upcoming meetings and events.
