    MISSION
    The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) at Paul VI Catholic High School was first established in 1985.  The mission of the PVI PTO is to promote and sustain communication within the PVI community and support PVI parents and teachers.  The PVI community includes the school administration, teachers, students, and parents/guardians of students attending PVI.

    OBJECTIVES(Top of Page)

    1. To establish communication and involvement with and between parents, teachers, school administration, and students and act as a forum for active exchange of ideas and suggestions.
    2. To sponsor activities and programs that enhance the quality of life on the PVI campus, foster pride in being associated with the school, and demonstrate support of our teachers.

    Focus on Communications

    1. Host Parent Programs to discuss topics of interest
    2. Publish annual PVI Student Directory
    3. Respond to parent questions via email at email address:
    4. PVIPTO@paulvi.net
    5. Maintain PTO page on PVI website
    6. Publicize in school publications

    Sponsor and Support Activities and Organizations

    1. Annual PTO Father-Daughter Dance
    2. Annual PTO Mother-Son Bowling
    3. Host Faculty Breakfasts/Lunches
    4. Host Teacher/Staff Appreciation functions
    5. Host programs for parents and students
    6. Fall & Spring Cleanups of PVI campus
    7. Support to All Night Grad Party, Campus Ministry activities and PVI chaplain  projects

    Promote Educational Excellence

    1. Provide Academic Enrichment Scholarships to Teachers and Staff
    2. Fund PTO Teacher Wish List
    3. Provide funds for PVI enhancements of academic departments and other special requests
    4. Support School Accreditation Process
    5. Sponsor annual PTO Teacher Appreciation Hearts event
    6. Support various fundraisers at PVI

    MEMBERSHIP(Top of Page)
    Open to all parents and guardians of current PVI students.  All of the PVI administration and faculty are automatically members of the PTO.

    ANNUAL DUES
    $27.00 per family for the 2006-2007 school year (subject to change each year)
