Welcome to the Math Department
The Mathematics Department of Paul VI has developed a program that challenges and meets the needs of students at all levels.
Freshman are placed in courses based on their performance on the High School Placement Test and in junior high math courses. A student placed in an honors level course must maintain at least a B average in order to register for an honors level course the following year. To move up to an honors level course, a student must have an A average in the current math course and the current teacher's recommendation.
