Business and Computer Department
Computer technology and the principles of business touch our lives in many ways. Our goal in the Business and Computer Department at Paul VI Catholic High School is to prepare our students to recognize the areas in life where technology and business intersect and how to effectively utilize specific aspects of these two fields to enhance their performance in school and in life ahead.
We aim to do this through a combined approach centered on building a solid foundation of computer and business skills. This foundation will serve as a knowledge base from which students can draw on in their current classes and ultimately build upon in college and in life. We also strive to integrate these skills across the curriculum such that students will use the knowledge they have acquired in other subjects.
This general course of study is augmented by a host of electives for students wishing to focus on more specific areas such as Accounting, Desktop Publishing, Digital Imaging, Economics, Java, and Web Page Design.
